Working independently under the general direction of the Assistant Registrar for Systems, the Functional Lead for Campus Community & Systemwide Reporting oversees the operation and maintenance of the Oracle PeopleSoft Student Information System for the Campus Community and Systemwide Reporting modules. These components are essential to the university’s student information system, supporting data integrity and compliance with mandatory reporting requirements to the CSU Office of the Chancellor. The incumbent manages testing, review, and implementation of system upgrades and maintenance, and leads research, planning, and development for continuous improvement. This role also resolves system issues and coordinates with campus departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of CSU, Chico student data. The Office of the Registrar includes Articulation, Graduation Advising and Transfer Credit, Degree Audit Programming, Student Records and Registration, Systems, and Veterans Affairs. It serves as a central resource for staff, faculty, students, and external agencies on student information systems and academic records. Police Officer Cadet Chico
The Cadet is a non-sworn officer in a trainee capacity. Incumbents attend a Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certified academy to develop the minimum qualifications necessary to assume a position as a sworn Police Officer. Upon successful completion of the required P.O.S.T., training within the required time frame and the discretion of management, the Police Officer Cadet may be appointed to the classification of Police Officer on a probationary basis. The primary responsibility of the Cadet is to attend the prescribed training sessions to learn the principles, practices, and theory of criminal and civil law enforcement and codified and case law. The Cadet also receives training in report writing, physical fitness techniques, firearms use and maintenance, and arrest and control techniques. This position will communicate and interact effectively with students, staff, faculty and community members with varied backgrounds and lived experiences, and also, create and maintain trust, legitimacy, credibility and collaboration with the campus community. Appointments to this classification are temporary and typically do not exceed seven (7) months.

The Academic Advisor/Graduation Specialist provides consistent, accurate, moderately complex, general academic advising services to undergraduate students. This position works on a college advising team (Lam Family College of Business, College of Ethnic Studies, College of Liberal and Creative Arts, College of Health and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, or the Graduate College of Education) within the Undergraduate Advising Center and advises students from their third year through graduation.
