OTP Budget & Operations Analyst Regular
Under the general direction of the Chief of Staff, the Office of the President Budget and Operations Analyst provides strategic budget, financial, and operational leadership for the Office of the President (OTP) division. The position independently develops and administers the division's budget planning and monitoring processes; conducts financial and operational analyses; evaluates complex information; and develops recommendations that support executive decision-making, resource stewardship, and divisional priorities. Serving as the division's primary resource for budget and operational matters, the Analyst leads process-improvement initiatives, develops administrative systems and procedures, and coordinates complex projects with broad impact across the division and its constituent units.
Slate System Analyst Regular
Under general supervision, the Slate System Analyst independently applies advanced business systems analysis skills to lead and manage complex Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems development and improvement projects in Technolutions Slate that support admissions, recruitment, and enrollment management. The analyst engages stakeholders to clarify and document requirements, drive consensus on priorities, and execute structured testing and release activities across the software development lifecycle. The role combines functional consulting, configuration, data management, and cross-functional coordination to optimize Slate and its integrations with campus systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).

Executive Assistant to the VPBFA & Coordinator for Strategic Initiatives Regular
Provides high-level confidential administrative support to the Interim Vice President for Business & Financial Affairs/CFO (VPBFA) and Executive Director of Budget, Resource Planning and Analysis by providing executive coordination of the Divisions' strategic planning and multi-channel communications, operationalization of special initiatives and projects, and provides leadership in maintaining an atmosphere of collegiality and professionalism in the Vice President's office, ensuring administrative functions and processes operate smoothly. Exercises considerable independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in supporting executive leadership, managing confidential matters, and fostering collaboration. Serves as liaison among University leadership, faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Supports the VPBFA's strategic administrative initiatives by independently coordinating special projects, advancing divisional priorities, improving organizational effectiveness, and coordinating complex initiatives that span multiple departments and stakeholders.
Director, Facilities Operations Regular
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Facilities Services & Public Works, the Director of Facilities Operations provides leadership, management, and operational oversight for the maintenance, repair, and operation of the University’s buildings, grounds, infrastructure, utility systems, and related physical assets. The Director is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive, coordinated, and service-oriented facilities operations program that includes routine, preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. The position ensures that campus facilities and infrastructure are maintained in a safe, reliable, functional, compliant, and fiscally responsible manner in support of the University’s academic mission, student success, business continuity, and long-term stewardship of public resources. As a member of the Facilities Services & Public Works leadership team, the Director provides strategic and operational guidance to the Associate Vice President.
LatinX Cultural Center Coordinator Regular
Serves as a member of the Cultural Centers team and is responsible for the development, coordination, and ongoing operation of the LatinX Cultural Center. The coordinator designs, implements, and assesses culturally responsive programs and services that support the success, retention, and sense of belonging of Latinx and historically underserved student populations at California State University Channel Islands. The coordinator also contributes to campus-wide education and engagement by fostering greater awareness and understanding of diverse cultures, identities, and lived experiences, promoting an inclusive environment that benefits the entire university community. This position plays a critical role in advancing CSUCI’s commitment as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) by fostering identity development, strengthening student engagement, and building cross-campus and community partnerships. The coordinator contributes to an integrated cultural center model, ensuring cohesive, identify-affirming support systems aligned with institutional priorities related to student success, equity, and social mobility.

Chief of Police Regular
The Chief of Police provides executive leadership and overall direction for the CSU Channel Islands University Police Department and is responsible for protecting life and property, promoting a safe and secure campus environment, preventing and responding to crime and disorder, and supporting the safety and well-being of students, employees, visitors, and the broader campus community. The Chief is responsible for enforcing applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as California State University and CSUCI rules, regulations, and policies. The position oversees law enforcement operations, crime prevention, investigations, police communications and the 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point, records and CJIS compliance, property and evidence functions, Clery Act support, emergency management, business continuity, transportation and parking services, and related public safety programs. The Chief also serves as a visible campus leader responsible for professional standards, accreditation, community trust, equity and inclusion, and effective partnerships across CSUCI and with external public safety agencies.
