Performs a variety of complex administrative support functions and provides day-to-day coordination and analysis for the implementation and continuous development of the Project SOAR (Student Outreach, Academics, and Retention), part of the CI retention and student support services and programs. Oversees the day-to-day operations and coordinates the administrative functions for outcomes driven efforts related to Project SOAR’s Channel Your Passion retention activity in order to enhance student success efforts as well as student preparedness for the workforce. This position is part of a Hispanic-Serving Institution Title V grant program initially funded in 2022.
Program Counselor and Navigator Temporary
Facilitates School Counseling and School Psychology Program recruitment and admission, recommends candidates for credentials. Provides advice, guidance, assistance, and current information to prospective and current students, faculty, and other interested parties on matters regarding the program, careers related to the program, program admission and exit requirements, and California State credentialing or licensing requirements. Has full authority to recommend students for their preliminary credential within parameters established by CTC and the University.
