The Project Director of SOAR (Student Outreach, Academics, and Retention) at CI serves under an Hispanic-Serving Institution Title V federal grant and provides overall project administration (fiscal & operational), leadership, and ensures compliance with federal regulations and campus policies. Leads a team managing the day-to-day project administration, management oversight, strategic planning, programmatic implementation, and project evaluation and supervises key personnel. Ensures implementation and continuous improvement of educational enrichment activities designed to promote outreach and student academic success to achieve the goals and objectives of Project SOAR.
Coordinator of Foster Youth Programs Regular
Plans, coordinates, and implements student programs, service delivery, activities, and events related to the Dolphin Guardian Scholars (DGS) foster youth and homeless youth program.

Career Development Counselor Temporary
Serves as a specialist in a centralized comprehensive center to individuals and groups of students and alumni. Assists with career assessments, career information, and job/internship search. Assists with developing and presenting workshops and seminars on current career and employment related topics (e.g., resume writing, job search, interviewing, major-specific career exploration, and major-specific job and internship search). Creates appropriate multimedia resources, handouts, and written materials for all educational/training work. Researches labor-market and career trends and create information resources for student/alumni use.

Provides overall leadership, management, and program direction for Disability Accommodations & Support Services (DASS). Oversees campus-wide compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as the Campus Student ADA Coordinator.

Provides program coordination and leadership for Veterans Programs. Supports University retention initiatives through the development, coordination, and oversight of co-curricular engagement and transition programs related to military-connected students.

Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs, Success and Equity Regular
Reports to the Provost and is an integral member of the Provost’s academic leadership team. Provides vision and strategic leadership for the planning and implementation of high-quality services to faculty and works closely with the AVPs, Deans, Associate Deans, Department Chairs, faculty, University Counsel, the Title IX office, and others on a wide variety of academic personnel issues; prioritizing equity and inclusion in all functions of the Faculty Affairs Office. With the support of the Faculty Affairs staff of professionals, the AVP FASE is responsible for (1) the administration of all academic personnel policies and procedures, and the interpretation, application, and administration of Unit 3 (Faculty) and Unit 11 (Academic Student Employees) collective bargaining agreements, (2) equity initiatives related to faculty hiring, promotion, and tenure, and (3) facilitating the ongoing professional development of faculty.
